On the other side of this, are INSPIRATIONAL moments, even MIRACLES that you are about to experience. 2 // The Birth of Mama Inspired
Sunday Sep 27, 2020
Sunday Sep 27, 2020
I am going to get real in today's episode as I relive the moments Mama Inspired was born. You'll hear how sharing in my loss, fear, and isolation in a post on social media propelled this journey to discovering my mission, and how I came to understand the power of courageous vulnerability.
In these moments I felt this overwhelming need from my community to drive a movement, cultivate a more enlightened, compassionate and empowered mama collective, and to encourage mamas and mamas-to-be to avoid isolation and fear not comparison and judgement.
I believe storytelling not only helps us heal, makes us feel heard, and like we are a part of something bigger, but can bring to light a perspective that changes how we view our own mess and uncover the beauty within in.
My hope is that you will begin to see the power of sharing in your own struggles. Join me as we relive this miracle and please leave a review if what you hear inspires you! Hearing from you makes my heart so happy and your words could encourage another mama to hop on this journey with us.
All the love,
Sarah

5 // Overcoming the 5 Reasons You Aren't Practicing Self- Care
Thursday Oct 01, 2020
Thursday Oct 01, 2020
We Mamas are incredible! We are capable of taking care of everyone and everything and think nothing of it… because it's just what we do! But, in the end we often neglect ourselves. In today's episode we are going to DEBUNK the 5 reasons you are not practicing self care, why the cleaning, kids, guilt, the world's opinion, our blurred vision of what's necessity and what isn't often get in the way of living our healthiest and happiest life.
We will discern the small actions each day that make a big impact on the way we feel, how we emotionally react and connect to our children/family, our negative or positive energy, how we sleep, and how we speak to ourselves at the end of the day. OUR truths, what is truly important, and of value to us will be revealed and we will learn to make decisions based on our own wellbeing and happiness instead of expectations and guilt. We will apply this mindset to time-management, so that you can make the very best of your day with what you have.
With a little guidance and tough-love you will be making change and growth around your self care routines in no time! Let's get to it mama!

We receive this question so causally as soon as we are married or are of the "age" to bare children and it's time it stops. In this episode Ashley Wallace shares how her answer to this question changed over the course of her 5 year long infertility battle, how it felt to receive it, and her commitment to enlightening others when it's asked of her today.
We are going to hear how she and her husband Branson uncovered true blessings amidst the hard and the moments in which their adoption blog was created. You must go read and share their story and all the inspiring words they have shared in hopes that a mama might hear it too and decide to make these beautiful people parents. You can find the blog on Facebook here -> Praying to Adopt Baby Wallace.
We hope this episode changes the narrative around how we approach women in their journey to motherhood and that the road of infertility doesn't remain one of shame and loneliness.
If you love this episode please share, subscribe, and review! Please know I am so grateful and can't wait to hear from you!
All the love,
Sarah

Today is part 2 of the interview with Megan Stofer. In this episode she speaks to the truly incredible gift of intuition we’re born with as mothers, and what to do with it when it speaks. We learn how to support a mother who’s experienced loss, what to say, what not to say, and how she chooses to honor the life of Connelly daily.
Megan speaks to the mother of loss in this episode, it’s powerful and it’s honest. To this mother: you are not alone, you don’t have to pretend your child didn’t exist for the comfort of others, there is life after loss, and while it never goes away completely, it does dull.
Please share this message with your loved ones and share your support by writing a review. It’s important that these words are heard and by many, your review helps us do that. Thank you !
All the love,
Sarah

10 // Miscarriage Sucks, Period - My First Loss
Tuesday Oct 20, 2020
Tuesday Oct 20, 2020
This is the story of my first miscarriage. It was painful, lonely, and humbling. I never quite understood how quickly you could fall in love with a miracle you've never met, and it only takes days. In this episode I reveal how I told Cameron about our pregnancy, how I talked myself out of the reality of our loss, my medical miscarriage experience, and how I coped in the days following.
My hope in telling my story is that other mamas don't have to experience this kind of loss to recognize it as the loss it truly is. No matter how early, the life you have created is gone and nothing prepares you for the heartache that follows. I need you to know that you are justified in your emotions, regardless how little time you had to grow this life.
Too many of us are led to dismiss this loss, please share this story and help drive this narrative.
